Safstrom & Company, P.S. had its beginning in 1970 when William A. Safstrom (1920 – 2000) formed his own firm after a twenty-five year career as a senior partner in the Seattle Certified Public Accounting firm of Ansell Johnson & Company. After the first three years in offices in the historic White-Henry-Stewart Building at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Union Street in downtown Seattle, the firm moved across the street when it relocated in 1973 to its present location in the 1411 Fourth Avenue Building. In 1980 Donald Safstrom joined his father at the company full time and together in 1982 they incorporated the firm as Safstrom & Company, P.S..

For nearly four decades Safstrom & Company has continued striving to consistently deliver the same high standard of excellent service to its clients as was envisioned by its founder in1970. We are committed to providing close and personal attention to our clients. The leadership within the firm is focused on continuing to invest time and resources in continuing professional education, state of the art technology, adherence to high ethical standards, and strong relationships with our clients and peers within the industry.

All of our CPA's are licensed by the state of Washington and are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
